As per ZATCA guideline we are sending the invoices date time in UTC format.
All the invoice date time is sent sent as UTC format by attaching Z at the end (like 13:59:59Z)
Some of our clients the invoice transactions is happening around midnight also
For e.g. if the transaction is happening at 01 Mar 2025 00:01 (01 Mar, 00.01 a.m.) then as per UTC the date and time would be 28 Feb 2025 21:01 (28 Feb, 9.01 p.m.).
But one of my client got report from ZATCA and we noticed in that report, the invoice transaction to be accounted for Mar 2025 month is actually accounted in Feb 2025. When we checked these invoice transactions, these transactions happened at 01 Mar 2025 early hours (01 Mar 2025 00.00 hours) and XML is having correct Date and time in UTC cbc:IssueDate2025-02-28</cbc:IssueDate> and cbc:IssueTime21:00:00Z</cbc:IssueTime>. Still these transactions are booked under Feb 2025 instead of Mar 2025
We checked all these invoice transactions and we are sending the date and time perfectly in UTC format but still our client got report which accounted 01 Mar 2025 invoice transactions into 28 Feb 2025 by ZATCA.
