There is currently a recall on eggs as health officials investigate a Salmonella outbreak that has been linked to them.

It seems that just about the time the price of eggs reaches a reasonable level, something happens that drives it back up. The latest is a string of Salmonella outbreaks that have happened across 14 states.

Which eggs are recalled?

According to the recall through the FDA, the eggs in question are listed as "Large brown cage-free sunshine yolks" that were distributed by a company called Country Eggs, LLC of Lucerne Valley, California. They're marked with sell by dates of 7/1/25 through 9/18/25.
