Fatal crash on Hilton Head Island, SCHP investigating

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WTOC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.
The deadly crash happened on Hilton Head Island at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday morning. A car was traveling east on Main Street when it hit a curb, went off the roadway and hit a tree. Highway patrol said the driver was the only person in the car, that driver died at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
