OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Omaha Police Department has identified the 17-year-old boy who died after a shooting on Halloween night.

The shooting happened just before midnight on Friday near 36th and Polk streets.

In an update Monday, OPD says the victim, 17-year-old Sevyn Bellar-White, was found outside a house party with a gunshot wound.

Bellar-White was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
