CINCINNATI POLICE TELL US THEY HAVE ARRESTED A TEENAGER AFTER MARTY BRENNAMAN STATUE WAS VANDALIZED OVER THE WEEKEND. POLICE SAY THE KID IS 13 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH VANDALISM. JUST YESTERDAY, CPD RELEASED VIDEO OF SOMEONE BREAKING THE MICROPHONE OFF OF THE STATUE. THE STATUE WAS UNVEILED JUST LAST MONTH.

						Cincinnati police say a 13-year-old has been arrested in connection to the vandalization of a statue of legendary Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman.Sunday, WLWT's crews saw that the microphone on Brennaman's statue outside of Great American Ball Park was broken. No other damage was seen to the statue, which was just installed earlier this year.Monday, police shared video of a suspect, saying they had vandalized the statue.Tuesday afternoon, police said they had arrested a 13-year-old juvenile and charged them with vandalism.Brennaman had a lengthy career as the Reds broadcaster between 1974 and 2019, calling many of the Reds’ most iconic moments in franchise history.
