Research Notes
- It is unclear if she was in a de-facto relationship with Johannes Hendriksz (abt.1695-) at the time of the baptism of their son Hendrik in 1722 and whether he is the same person as her second husband Joannis (Jans) Jansen (bef.1689-). I have assumed that he was a separate person at this stage. It should also be noted that neither he or his son Hendrik are mentioned in her will. [10]
Sources
- ↑ Her given name in De Villiers and Pama was Rentien with a baptismal date of 1691. (See children listed under Maria Cornellisen). No such record could be found : Although Rentien is a Finnish name I believe that the entry in De Villiers and Pama should read Leùtien and the date should read 1694. Looking at the baptismal records for this child it is clear that the date preceding this entry was 1693. Ronel Olivier
