Biography
Chandler Tuttle was born on August 22, 1786, in Brandon, Vermont. He was the son of Solomon Tuttle and Deborah Strong. He was married three times (Jane Neal 1785-1828, Phoebe Strong 1792-1831, and Catherine Baldwin 1806-1886) and had at least five sons and eight daughters. He died on April 18, 1863, in Madison, Ohio, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in the Baldwin Cemetery, Madison County, Ohio.
