Dorothea Frederika 'Dorothy' Seider was born on 8 February 1753 in Saucon, Bethlehem, Bethlehem Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, British Colonial America.[1] She was the daughter of Johann Michael Seider (1708 - 1783) and his wife Eva Dorothea Duerrmann (1712 -).
Her siblings were:

- Abraham Seider (1755 - 1810)
Dorothy married Johannes Jacob Beil (1746 - 1826) in 1767 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

- Susanna Dorothea (Beil) Shimer (1775 - 1848)
- Sybilla Beil (1779 - 1852)

- Mary Magdalene Beil (1790 - 1857)
- Solomon Beil (~1822 - 1910) -> rather doubtful - no sources for this alleged child of Johannes Jacob Beil & Dorothea-Frederika (Seider) Beil, with sources are documented only a total of 8 children
Dorothy died at the age of 70 on 26 December 1823 in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, USA.
