Biography
Kay grew up in a small town in Central New York.
She attended elementary school in the same building where her father graduated from high school. All paternal great great grandparents lived with 20 miles of this town by 1820. The school was across the road from her Aunt Marian's house and she spent time there most days.
The family gathered at the Sands farm, on Sands Road in Camillus, for Christmas.
The family often gathered at Marian and Fritz's camp on Oneida Lake.
She was a member of the Women's Varsity Basketball team in college.
She earned a degree in geography. Her career as a software engineer included early work in geospatial technology and later in database applications and web services. She holds an Amateur Radio license.
She enjoys RV travel, genealogy, sports, reading, cooking, sewing, gardening and solving puzzles.

Thanks for this. I restarted the Wiki version of my tree today after I managed to get through the self-certifiction process for Pre-1700 additions. I have a much more complete tree on MacFamilyTree and Ancestry (6,900 people at present). I do have a block or at least a problem on my second great grandfather, Peter Sinclair, and will consult with you about that when I review that entry.
