Andy Wyeth (Andrew Newell Wyeth), the noted American painter, is listed on his and his father N.C. Wyeth's pages as having no descendants. This is incorrect.
Andy Wyeth's son Jamie (James Browning Wyeth) is also a noted painter, though not as well-known as his father. He has done portraits of JFK, Nureyev, and his father Andy, a wonderful large painting of a smiling swine entitled "Portrait of a Pig," several paintings of his wife Phyllis Mills including my favorite "And Then into the Deep Gorge," and many other fine works. He and Andy Warhol exchanged portraits of each other. Like his father, Jamie has worked in Maine as well as in their native Chadds Ford in the Brandywine Valley of SE Pennsylvania and northern Delaware, near the Brandywine Conservancy and Art Museum. He and his wife had no children.
