Quartus Ellis Rust (1815 - 1889)

Biography

Quartus was born on 15 January 1815 in Chester, Massachusetts to parents Quartus Rust and Polly.^[1]

He was a cabinet maker by trade and farmer on the homestead. In 1859, he settled in the villiage and conduceted a cabinet shop and furniture store until he passed away on 8 September 1889.^[2]

On 19 December 1839, he married Electa M. Knight, who died 17 March 1861. She was the mother of all his children: Amelia M., Charles C., and Ellis E.^[2]

On 3 March 1863, he married Ann McCoy.^[2]

He passed away in 1889. ^[3]
