Hi Tanya:

Thanks for proposing a merge of Staley-1717 and Staelin-2. I noticed this duplication earlier this year but couldn't complete a merge without the other profile manager.

I concur with this merge. Staley is the more common family name used by Christina's brothers so I would suggest retaining Staley-1717 but ensuring the spouse and children are all added to Staley-1717 as well. The sources under Staelin-2 referencing an Ancestry tree don't seem to work so they can be deleted.

Best wishes, Scott

Approving a Trusted List request Other WikiTree members may request to be added to a Trusted List by clicking the link on a profile page. If you're the Profile Manager you'll receive an e-mail with the request.

It's important to keep in mind that Trusted Lists are a tool for privacy, not control. They enable you to protect sensitive information, especially regarding living people. They're not meant for excluding descendants. All descendants have to share the same ancestor profiles.

After approving a request, you will be presented with a checklist with every profile on your Watchlist. Use the "select all ancestors" and "select all descendants" options to check many names with one click.

Hi Tanya, thanks for creating the profile of Margaret Grieve. I'm always on the lookout for possible Grieve relatives. My husband's mother was a Grieve whose ancestor John Bell Grieve came to Ontario ca 1847 from Scotland.
