Rotheus Mitchell (1753 - abt. 1816)

Biography

Rotheus Mitchell was born on March 9, 1753 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay, son of Seth Mitchell (1715–1802) and Anne Latham (~1718– ).^[1]

Rotheus (30) married Hepzibah Hayward (20) (born about 1762 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts; daughter of Josiah Hayward Jr. and Mary (Dunham) Hayward) on April 3, 1783 in Bridgewater, USA.^[2] Their children were:

• Horatio Gates Mitchell (~1787–1867)
• Marcus Hayward Mitchell (1797–1867)
• Nathan Conant Mitchell (1807–1862)
• Luther Mitchell (~1809–1846)

Rotheus died about 1816 in Grafton, New Hampshire, United States, aged about 63. He was buried in Old Lyme Cemetery.^{[3] [4] [5]}
