Gene Alvin Matthews (1935 - 2016)

Biography

Gene Matthews was born in Appalachia, in Georgia. See Appalachia Project.

Gene Matthews was a member, deacon and former Sunday School teacher of Corinth Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Gene was former Mayor and City Councilman for the City of Loganville. He was Board Member Emeritus with the Walton County Christian Learning Center.
