Richard was born about 1758 based on his death record.
Richard married Mabella (Worsey) Jackson (1770 - 1858) a widow, on the 5th May 1796 in St Mary's Church, Stafford, Staffordshire. The witnesses were Harriet Smith and Richard Barttan? [1]
Richard (age 53) died on the 16th August 1811 (please see the research note below), and was buried on the 18th August 1811 at St Chad's Church, Seighford, Staffordshire, England.[2]
Richard died on the 16th August 1811 residing in Creswell, Staffordshire, England, Creswell, Staffordshire, England and his estate passed probate in 1812.[3]

In Beth Britten's biography of her brother Benjamin Britten the composer, entitled 'My Brother Benjamin', published by The Kensal Press in 1986 (ISBN 0-946041-40-7), she includes extensive family trees. They show Richard's precise date of death.
