Research Notes
The information for this profile is derived from a modern reconstruction of the Glarus family trees based primarily on the genealogical manuscripts of Johann Jakob Kubly-Müller (1893–1923). These manuscripts systematically abstracted the parish registers of the Canton of Glarus and were later maintained and updated by cantonal archivists.
Kubly-Müller’s work is a high-quality secondary source grounded in original parish records. Under WikiTree standards, it is considered reliable but should ideally be corroborated with direct citations to the underlying baptismal, marriage, and burial entries where available.
