Mark Legler (1962 - 2021)

Biography

Mark was born on June 23,1962 in Ithaca, New York. He was the eldest child of the late Barbara Newell Legler and Robert Legler. He passed away on June 6, 2021 after suffering from cancer.

Mark grew up in Vernon, New York, and spent his adult life in Syracuse, New York. At the time of his death he was employed as Technology Coordinator for Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse. His professional career started at New Readers Press, the publishing arm of Laubach Literacy International. Mark also worked for 10 years at Dupli Envelopes and Graphics.

Mark was a voracious reader. He was dedicated to his work, appreciated all types of music, loved his home, enjoyed visiting big cities and relaxing in his hammock, and was always willing to have a cordial discussion about current events.

Laid to rest on June 16, 2021.
