Biography
Known in the family as "Colonel Thomas Legh the Younger"
Eldest son succeeded as heir to the Adlington estates on the death of his father in 1644; served as lieutenant-colonel in the Royalist army; was Sheriff of Cheshire 1662; and died 1687.
Will of Thomas Legh of Adlington Esq. proved (Chester Probate Registry) 1688.[1]
