Biography
Samuel was aged 62 years when he died[1] and is buried at Mount Vincent cemetery Anglican section. He arrived in the colony aged 2 years old 12 Feb 1842 with his parents on the 'AGNES'.

- DEATH
- Mr. Samuel Leggett, one of the oldest residents of the district, passed away at Richmond Vale on Friday, after a brief illness,at the age of 62 years. He was born in Ireland, but came to the district with his parents when four years old.During his residence at Richmond Vale he devoted attention to farming, timber,and other industries, and was respected by a wide circle of friends, and he leaves a widow, three sons, and five daughters.
