Biography
Dudley Massey LAPISH was born on 28 November 1894 in Ashfield, NSW, Australia. He was the son of John Lapish and Ellen Stringer. [1]
He enlisted at age 21 in the Australian Imperial Force on 04 June 1916 and served in Egypt and France in World War I. Service Number 7051. He survived the war but became ill and died from pneumonia as a result of influenza before he could be disembarked to Australia. [2]
He passed away on 16 February 1919 at age 24 in Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, England and was buried there. [3]
