Archibald John Lapish (1892 - 1961)

Biography

Archibald John LAPISH was born in 1892 in Ashfield, NSW, Australia. He was the son of John Lapish and Ellen Stringer. ^[1]

Archibald (age about 24) married Eulalie (Lalie) Hope Verena RICHARDSON (age about 23) in 1916 in Ashfield, NSW, Australia. ^[2]

In 1919 at age 26 Archibald was charged with Conspiracy regarding the theft of good from his shipping agent company Birt & Co. ^[3] The case was well followed from March through to October 1919 where he was found guilty and sentenced to 12 months hard labour. ^{[4] [5] [6]}

Archibald and Lalie made the news when they were moderately injured as passengers in a tram accident. ^[7]

He passed away in 1961 at around age 69 in Belmont, NSW, Australia. ^[8]
