Sedonia was born on 21 December 1871 in Ville Platte Church: v. 2, p. 125. She was the daughter of Valery Landreneau and Marie (Rogeau) Landreneau.^[1]

When Sedonia was 18 she married Eugene Young on 17 December 1890 in Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. #23365. The couple had 11 children: Marie Eldee Young, Berthe Young, Laura Young, John E. Young, Ermina Young, Armida Young, Andre Young, James (Jim) Young, Simon Young, Emilie (Amelia) Young and Julius Young. Marriage License:^[2]

Sedonia died at the age of 86 on 30 July 1958 in Gravestone.^[2]
