Biography
Elma Lamphere was born in 1850 in New York, United States, daughter of Allen Lamphere (1817–1854) and Marie Louise Mitchell (~1830–1909). She was counted at age zero in 1850 with her parents in Potsdam, New York.[1]
Elma (25) married Henry Silas Jaynes (27) (born on September 4, 1848 in Neenah, Winnebago, Wisconsin, United States; son of Henry Clinton Jaynes and Almira Longer (Jacobs) Jaynes) on June 20, 1876 in Jackson, Missouri, United States. Their children were:
- Elma Herberta Jaynes (1879–1934)
- Arthur Winter Jaynes (1885–1919)
- Irene E. Jaynes (1900– )
Elma died on November 5, 1918 in Saint Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, United States, aged 68. She is commemorated at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska.[2]
