Mary Howman (bef. 1842 - 1891)

Biography

Mary was born in 1842. She is the daughter of Henry Howman and Louisa Dawson. She was baptised on 28 November in Eyton on the Weald Moors, Shropshire. ^[1]

Mary never married. In 1871 she was living with her brother Philip and his family in Crewe, Cheshire. She was a 'servant out of employ' ^[2]

In 1891 Mary was in the union Workhouse in Shifnal, Shropshire. Her profession is given as domestic servant. ^[3]

Mary died aged 49 in 1891. Her death was registered on Shifnal, Shropshire. ^[4]
