Biography
Jane was born in 1703. She married Valentine Browning in 1732. Their daughter Elizabeth married Pierce Power in 1762, and their daughter Alicia married John Drew.
Alicia, eldest daughter of Pierce Power, Esq. of Affane, county Waterford, by Elizabeth, sole daughter and heir of Valentine Browning, Esq. of Affane, by Jane, daughter of Samuel Hayman. Esq. of Clonpriest and Myrtle-grove, in Youghal. Valentine was 2nd son of Edmund Browning, a major in Cromwell's army, who married Mary, daughter of the celebrated Valentine Greatrakes of Affane Castle, Esq. The last mentioned lady was called by the Irish, Moira, Great, because of her great liberality and goodness. Pierce Power, Esq. was a lineal descendant of the Barons de la Poer, of Curraghmore.[1]
Jane passed away in 1736.
