Elsie Mary Haw was born in 1893 in Islington, London, England.^[1]

In the 1901 census, Elsie (age 8) was the daughter of Arthur William Haw in Islington, London, England.^[2]

In the 1911 census, Elsie (age 18), General Servant Domestic, was the single servant of Arthur Charles Allen at 37 Allerton Road, Stoke Newington N, Stoke Newington, London, England.^[3]

Elsie married Ernest Ellis Earnshaw on 5 January 1918 in Gisborne, New Zealand.^[4]

Elsie died on 23 December 1932 at Cooks Hospital in Gisborne, New Zealand. She had been a passenger in a car on 21 October 1932 which collided with a train. She was in hospital for about 2 months before passing. ^[5][6][7]
