Hough-1374 and Haw-295 appear to represent the same person because: Surname is Haw as per all the citations re spouse and children. Link to Hough is conjectural.

RE: Hough-1374

Check out https://www.ancestry.ca/search/collections/1030/?name=Joseph_Hoffe&birth=1728_england-united+kingdom_3251&father=Richard&marriage=1753&mother=Martha&name_x=1_s

Joseph Hoff in 13 family trees, all with birth dates and parents matching Hough-1374, and, where a spouse is listed, she is Mary wed in 1753.

Hough-1374 and Haw-295 do not represent the same person because: You have two marriages to two different women taking place on the same day. My feeling is that we have two different men, perhaps cousins. Do you have proof they might be the same person, because we have two different sets of parents too?

Well, isn't this interesting....

I believe it is the same woman, Margaret Thomson, as the spouse in both men's profiles. Refer to your marriage reference in Hough-1374. It is the same as the marriage reference for Haw-295 (source Family Search person 27FS-36S, England Marriages 1538-1973). In both your marriage record for Hough and the Family Search marriage record for Haw, the bride's name is shown as Margret Tomson, groom's name as Joseph Haw. Dates and places are the same. They are the same marriage event. So how did two different men marry the same woman on the same day.

Perhaps you have the wrong wife for Joseph Hough...check out https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/M2SR-GXW. Joseph Hoffe. Father Richard Hoffe and mother Martha Wilson. Born in 1728 in Stickney, Lincolnshire. Married 'Mary' in 1753.
