Biography
Eleanor was baptised September 3, 1758 in Holsworthy, Devon. She was the daughter of William and Joanna Gorrell.[1]
She married Philip Collins on January 3, 1792 in the parish of Holsworthy, Devon[2]and they were the parents of at least 2 children: Joanna in 1792 and Mary in 1794.
The parish record states:
- "Philip Collins (labourer) and Eleanor Ermenal Gorrel (spinster) both of this parish by Banns"
Eleanor's death in 1838 in Pyworthy was registered in Holsworthy Registration District in Devon.[3]
