Lawrence Felix is a part of US Black heritage.

Lawrence Alexander Felix was born on 2 Jan 1916 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Charles Felix and Mary Bowles.[1][2] He grew up in Philadelphia.[3][4][2]

Lawrence married on 3 Jun 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[5] They had four children.[6][7] Lawrence was a Baptist minister. In 1945, he and his family moved to Los Angeles, California where he became the pastor of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. In 1953, he founded the Miracle Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles.[6]

Lawrence died on 9 Jun 1961 in Los Angeles, California.[1] He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles.[8]
