Biography
Ebenezer Elwell, was the son of Samuel and Esther/Hester (Dutch) Elwell, born Feb. 29, 1671. (p. 362)[1] He married Jane Elwell on Jan. 2 ,1695 and had seven children. He was some time held in captivity by the French and died before 1723. (p. 88) [2]
Jane Elwell, daughter of John and Jane (Durin) Elwell was born Nov. 23, 1671 at Salem. (p. 29)[3](p. 277)[4]
Their son Charles was born, May 3, 1695and died May 5, 1695 at Gloucester. (p. 126; p. 241) [2]
