Biography
Frances Elmes was baptized on June 21, 1639 in Newnham, Northamptonshire, England, daughter and ultimately, heiress of John Elmes (~1602–1652) and Anne Tryst.[1]
She married Edward Harby, son and heir of Edward Harby of Adstone, Northamptonshire about 13 September 1659.[1][2] They had
- Francis Harby, age 19 in 1681, married Parnell Trist in 1689, sold Adstone in 1720.[1]
- Elizabeth Harby (1661–1730), born about 1661, married Sir Edward Reade, 2nd Bt. of Compton, and died leaving surviving children.[1]
Frances died on July 9, 1708 in Adstone, Northamptonshire.[1]
