Clara Nealga (Damgaard) Craig (1888 - 1977)

Biography

Clara Damgaard was born on April 9, 1888 in Atlantic, Iowa.^[1][2] She was the daughter of Neils Damgaard and Anna Mary Poulsen/Paulson.^[3] Clara married Loring Wheeler Craig on June 6, 1907 in Jackson County, Missouri.^[4] They had 3 known daughter, Mary, Alice and Virginia Craig born in Missouri.^[5] By 1920, Clara and Loring and family had moved to Independence, Kansas where Loring worked for the telephone company.^[5] The family moved again to Topeka, Kansas where they remained through the 1940 census.^[6][7]

Clara died on April 15, 1977 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka (Shawnee County), Kansas.^[8]
