Lily Maud Cuthbert was born in 1882 [1] in Hundon, Suffolk, England, the daughter of Charles Cuthbert, an agricultural labourer, and Mary Ann Medcalf. [2] She was baptised on 24 September 1882 in All Saints Church, Hundon.[3]
When Lily was 24 she married James Cook in about November 1906 in Risbridge, Suffolk, England.[4]
In 1911 she was living in with her husband, a farm labourer, and 2 children in Cowlinge, Risbridge, Suffolk, England.[5]
