Biography
Prudence was a daughter of Edward Clap and his first wife, Prudence. She was born at Dorchester, Massachusetts, on 28 December 1637.[1][2]
Prudence Clap was married to Simon or Samuel Peck in Dorchester, Massachusetts, on 13 February 1659/60. The Hobart Journal identifies her husband as Simon Peck,[3][2] but vital records identify him as Samuel Peck.[4]
The following deaths were recorded at Mendon, Massachusetts, but it is undetermined whether this is the correct couple:
- Prudance Peck, wife of Deacon Simon died on March 24, 1687. [5]
- Deacon Simon Peck died on March 27, 1688. [5]
