Auguste Minna Beil was born on 17 Feb 1868 in Groß-Goddula at 5 a.m., 4th child of Friedrich Ernst Beil and his 1st wife Emilie Ernestine nee Landmann. She was baptized ibidem on 1 Mar 1868. Her godparents were Dorothea Beil of Groß-Widemar, Bertha Beil of Ennewitz and Friederike Herfurth of Kauern.^[1]

She married on 25 Oct 1892 in Keuschberg Karl Friedrich Schmidt.^[2]
