Biography
John was born about 1834. [citation needed] He is the son of Cornelius Beesimer and Maria Vandermark. John is first seen on the 1850 U. S. Census, age 14, at home with his parents and siblings.[1] He can be found at home with his family on the 1855 New York Census, age 18. [2]
Research Notes
There is a John Besimer on the 1860 U. S. Census who may or may not be the same person. [3] More research is needed.
