Biography

Rebecca was born in 1802. She was the daughter of John Baynard and Mary Richards. Rebecca Baynard daughter of John Baynard of Rosewyn, St Clement merchant and Mary his wife (daughter of John Richards of StClement) was born 30 Sept 1802 and registered at Dr Williams Library 19 Oct 1832. Rebecca possibly married Thomas Baynard of Kenwyn on 1 Jan 1828 at St Clement

Rebecca Baynard widow daughter of John Baynard married William Henry Trounce widower son of Richard Trounce on 31 Dec 1840 at St Ewe. In 1841 William H Trounce 27 was a farmer at Trelnack, St Ewe with Rebecca 35 and two servants. In 1861 William Henry Trounce 45 was a farmer of 140 acres living at trelnack House, St Ewe with Rebecca Jane 54 born at Truro, niece Bessie Williams 17 born at St Ewe and three servants. Rebecca Trounce late of Raynard Villa, Mannamead, Plymouth widow died 28 Jan 1889 with probate to Joseph Trounce of Truro.
