Sylvey was born before 1862.
She was enslaved first by William Grimball Baynard (1792 - abt. 1861), then by his daughter, Mary Baynard (1828 - 1889).
In the 1862 estate inventory for William Baynard, Sylvey is not listed. [1]
In the will of William Baynard, Sylvey is assigned to Mary. [2]
