This profile is part of the Edisto Island, South Carolina One Place Study.

Sarah was probably the daughter of William and Mary Baynard of the Province of South Carolina.[1]

She married, as his second wife, John Calder, and they had a daughter, Sarah, who was underage when John Calder wrote his Will in November 1766.[2]

On 1 May 1767 she married, as his second wife, Benjamin Seabrook.[3]They had a son, Joseph Baynard (m. Mary Whaley, Sarah Ann Austen, and Martha Beckett).[4]

Sarah was dead before 6 April 1810, when Joseph Baynard Seabrook was granted administration of her estate.[4]
