Carmela J. (Ballone) Wagner (1930 - 2004)

Biography

Carmela was born in 1930. ^[1] She was the daughter of Francesco Ballone and Giuseppina "Josephine" Terlizi. ^{[2] [3]}

She married Andrew Wagner and they had no children of their own. ^{[4] [5] [6]}

Carmela passed away in 2004 and was buried at Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown, Georgia. ^[7]

"Entered into rest Saturday, October 9, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital, Mrs. Carmela J. Wagner, wife of the late Andrew C. Wagner of Augusta.

"Mrs. Wagner was a native of Trenton, N.J. but had lived in Augusta for the last 31 years. She retired after 38 years with the Civil Service at Eisenhower Army Medical Center as an executive secretary for the Chief of Pathology. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

"Family members include her nephews, Frank D. Bennett of Martinez, Christopher J. Bennett of Evans, Terry C. Bennett of Greensboro, N.C. and Bob McManus of East Northport, N.Y. ; great-nieces and nephews, Tim Bennett, Pam Taubman, Sara Bennett and Kimberly Bennett; niece, Eileen Anetrella of Commack, N.Y.

"The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Michael Roverse celebrant. Pallbearers will be Keith Anderson, Greg Mims, Bob Hookness, Frank Bennett. Interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

"The Vigil for the Deceased will be Tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. at Thomas Poteet and Son and the family will receive friends from 7:30 until 8:30.
