Cleo Jackson Allison (1905 - 1971)

Biography

Cleo was born in 1905. He married his 2nd cousin Gussie Charity Allison in 1925.

As a young man, he liked to play baseball and was a catcher. He was crossed eyed and the runners on first base couldn't tell if he was looking at them. He was able to pick them off if they were trying to steal second base. Cleo worked as a produce and livestock delivery driver. He passed away in 1971.

• Cleo (19) married Gussie Charity Allison (20) (born on July 17, 1904 in Noland, Randolph, Arkansas, United States; daughter of George Washington Allison and Kathryn LaVicie (Slayton) Allison) on January 31, 1925 in Lawrence, Arkansas, United States. Their children were:

• Connie Lee Allison (1926–2008)
• George William Allison (1929–2021)
