Aristides Franklin Tate left Gravesend on 30th December 1854 with his wife Bessy. They went to the goldfields at Fryerstown, Victoria Australia.

His brother Robert Tate also came to Chewton, Victoria and was headteacher of the school there.

My grandfather Audy Lee Tate, was born July 13, 1890 in Austin, Travis Co., TX. Father J F Tate and Mother Nannie Turner. Any information or a direction to look would be appreciated. JT had 7 kids of record and Nannie had 3. My grandfather was Audy Lee, Brother - Thomas Doyal Tate, Sisters - Nassie and unnamed one. He bought land in Kosse, Limestone Co., Texas in 1920. I have NO other information and would love to find out anything else. Thanks.
