KB building(s) - Prins Willem-Alexanderhof 5 (Q134608790)

[edit]

Hello @OlafJanssen 👋 As I am an architecture fan, and I was editing some Wikidata items related to a project I'm working on, I happened to create a Wikidata item for KB's current building (as I wanted to connect one of its other occupants to the building). You'll see that I also reflected this in Commons categories. In general I notice we tend to split out organizations and buildings more and more, as buildings can have more than one occupant; buildings have architects but organizations don't; and an organization can move locations. Anyway, I have not completely "picked this apart" due to lack of time, but if you want to further model the KB and its presence in buildings over time, and on the other hand the various occupants of Willem-Alexanderhof 5, that would of course be worthwhile :-) Cheers! WikiProject NTA authors - current status

[edit]

Hi! I have discovered only today Wikidata:WikiProject Dutch National Thesaurus for Author Names and it is very interesting; I have been among the promoters of a similar effort of syncing a national authority file with Wikidata in the last years in Italy (Wikidata:Gruppo Wikidata per Musei, Archivi e Biblioteche/SBN) and I think there are many points in common that could be discussed to improved the respective workflows. So I have two starting questions: 1) What is the current status of the project? I see the last edits to it were in 2022, and after that many things have changed, including a lot of changes (in fact, mostly worsenings) in VIAF (cf. https://doi.org/10.5860/ital.v44i4.17384), so I was wondering which is the current schedule for including the 2+ M authors absent in Wikidata. 2) How can I report mistakes in NTA when I see them to the KB so that they are fixed? Thanks very much in advance, --Epìdosis 21:58, 15 February 2026 (UTC) P.S. I have some issues loading the page, could you archive or delete a few Wikidata weekly summaries? ;-)Reply
