Dubbings of film with own WD-Item

[edit]

I propose to expand the domain of this property by film dubbing (Q26204053):
The Deutsche Synchronkartei (Q1204237) is actually not a database of films, but of film dubbing (Q26204053). I know that most dubbings of films don't have their own item (and probably never will have) and for those it should be ok to add this identifier to the work for pragmatic reasons. But there exist items for dubbings (e.g. 101 Dalmatiner (Q27148028)) and 101 Dalmatiner (Q27148283)) and I think in those cases this identifier should be used for the dubbing - especially as there can exist more than one German dubbing for one film. -- Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 09:25, 7 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I extended the domain. --Pasleim (talk) 11:16, 14 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Valentina.Anitnelav, Pasleim: Should the ID be removed from the film, if an film dubbing (Q26204053) of the film exists? Otherwise an exception for duplicates based on the type film dubbing (Q26204053) would be perfect, though I don't know if something like this is possible?!--CENNOXX (talk) 07:50, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
I would tend to remove it from the film (but if somebody prefers to keep it on both I would not mind either). - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 09:32, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Notified participants of WikiProject Movies

There are many films with multiple dubbing versions (for example https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q232227#P3844) because one is for television, the other for the cinema, sometimes because of the rights or you can't find out why there are two or more versions. The Deutsche Synchronkartei (Q1204237) marks them with version and states when they were created. I would add a qualifier publication date (P577), which distinguishes the items from each other, if nobody has anything against it?--CENNOXX (talk) 07:50, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

So sometimes, there is only the comment 1. version or 2. version, so the publishing date isn't given every time.--CENNOXX (talk) 08:18, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
@CennoxX: Another interesting property that can be used is distribution format (P437). Escudero (talk) 09:25, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
I have now added some separator (P4155).--CENNOXX (talk) 10:55, 1 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
