Once the temperature drops to zero for several days, locals know that the Ice Skating season is here. In Espoo, you can choose from over 90 natural and artificial ice rinks, the most famous being Tapiola Ice Garden. Ice rings welcome all types of skaters, from beginners to professionals. Artificial ice rings are perfect for anybody wanting to play ice hockey or bandy, besides that Espoo is also home to plenty of Figure Skating competitions and events annually!

Longer Skating Track in Oittaa Recreational Area

If you want to skate more than within the ring, you can try the longer skating track at the Oittaa Recreational Area. The track is always made once the weather conditions get favorable, as it is located directly on Lake Bodom.

  • Made/open based on weather conditions
  • Skates can be rented for adults and children from the nearby Hiihtocenter rental point
