The Forge Best Pickaxes Stats and Locations
Here's where to find every pickaxe in The Forge, along with their stats, prices and attributes.
Update: We've added more information on where to get the two best pickaxes in The Forge, the Arcane and Demonic Pickaxes.
Before you can smith your way to supremacy in The Forge, you first need to collect the ores and minerals which form the metal to craft your equipment. But to do this effectively, you will need one of the best pickaxes money can buy.
This run-down of where to find every pickaxe in The Forge includes the stats for each piece of mining equipment, its price, and the amount of Rune Slots it comes with as standard for upgrading its abilities further.
Like most Roblox games, The Forge is still in active development and has just a few different areas to explore right now. This means that the choice of pickaxes is relatively limited, but there are still some choices to make to avoid wasting your hard earned money.
As a general rule of thumb, try to avoid buying the in-between pickaxes and save up your money for a real upgrade. For example, you will probably want to skip the Gold pickaxe at the start of the game and go straight to Platinum. Then, depending on how fast you’re collecting cash, you can skip straight to Uranium once you’ve collected Cobalt.
Finally, the Arcane pickaxe is the best value in The Forge’s late game. While it has lower base power than the Demonic, the Mine Speed buffs and debuffs bring them closer together than that would seem. Plus the Demonic is just so much more expensive, that it makes sense to cash in on the Arcane more quickly.
But if you’re struggling to get a football and collect enough money for the best pickaxes in The Forge, make sure to check out our page on The Forge codes for some helpful boosts and rerolls to try for the best races.

How to get the Arcane Pickaxe
To unlock access to the Arcane Pickaxe, you first need to travel to the Stonewake's Cross area and return the Bard's missing guitar.
You do this by speaking to the bard, then dropping into the invisible hidden room just to the left of the entrance to the mine cave.
In return for your help, the Barb will give you a key which unlocks the gate in the mine. Behind the gate, you'll be able to buy the Arcane Pickaxe for 125,000$ or 110,000$ if you're a Goblin.
How to get the Demonic Pickaxe
To unlock access to the mighty Demonic Pickaxe, you must complete an unmarked quest deep inside the volcano.
First take the right-hand fork at the entrance of the Ruined Cave, then turn right again until you see a hole covered by two Basalt Veins. Break them and drop into the Volcanic Depths.
In the back of the Volcanic Depths there's a hidden passageway which leads to another chamber. Here you meet Skal. Speak to them and they'll ask for 3 Demonite in exchange for a Demonic Key.
Return with the Demonite and take the key to the locked door in the back-right corner of the Volcanic Depths. Like with the Arcane Pickaxe, you will now be able to buy the Demonic Pickaxe for a whopping 500,000$ or 440,000$ if you're a Goblin.
