About Vanity Fair
Mission Statement
Vanity Fair holds a mirror to society by celebrating the best of global culture and investigating the forces that propel it. Pop culture can be profound and current affairs can be ridiculous. Our cast of characters is wide-ranging, wildly diverse, always exceptional, and quite often, has a lot of style. In every medium, Vanity Fair harnesses the tensions of modern life.
Editorial Standards and Practices
Vanity Fair’s journalists adhere to the highest standards of accuracy as they set about illuminating the topics they cover, whether it’s US politics, crime, scandal, the entertainment industry, Hollywood’s awards races, the British royal family, or an irresistible morsel of celebrity news. VF encourages its reporters, writers, photographers, and editors to draw upon their experience and informed perspective and give readers the clearest possible picture of what’s really happening. Originally reported stories are fact-checked, copyedited, and subject to legal review in advance of publication.
