The Government of Fiji has officially handed over the Fiji Policy on Food and Nutrition Security (FPFNS), marking a key step toward a more coherent and resilient agrifood future.

Pacific Harbour, Fiji - 17 October 2025 – Fiji celebrated World Food Day this year with two key activities: the Validation and Handing Over of Fiji’s Food and Nutrition Security Policy; and a National Celebration with students and communities at Deuba District School at Serua province. 

Bangkok and Hanoi | 10 October 2025: In a dynamic week for the Asia-Pacific region, the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub engaged in two high-level regional workshops aimed at accelerating integrated action across biodiversity, climate, and agrifood systems agendas – laying the groundwork for collective regional messaging toward COP30. 

In New York this week, government leaders, development partners, and innovators gathered at the Joint Meeting of the UN General Assembly’s Second Committee and ECOSOC, focused on "Reimagining Public–Investor Partnerships: Systems Finance for Inclusive Sustainability Transformations“.
