Principal aims
The Roger & Douglas Turner Charitable Trust primary aim is to award grants to registered charities that can demonstrate specific charitable work and public benefit in Birmingham, the 4 boroughs of the Black Country (Walsall, Sandwell, Wolverhampton & Dudley), Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Grant funding is provided to registered charities focusing on work in the following 6 thematic areas:
- Adults in need
- Young people in need
- Hospices
- Mental health support
- Poverty
- Environment and heritage
The secondary aim of the trust is providing public access to Arley Estate including its Arboretum and gardens.
