Very disappointed with Figo.
I purchased insurance for my pets expecting reliable support, but instead I’ve faced constant refusals and shifting explanations.
1. First denial: I was told that “the first month isn’t covered,” even though this was never clearly communicated at the time of purchase.
2. Second denial: They claimed that because my cat is not spayed, any health issue is automatically considered a consequence of that.
3. After that: Every single claim has been dismissed as a “pre‑existing condition,” regardless of the situation.
The most absurd case was when my cat jumped off the couch, twisted her leg, and her paw became swollen. A simple injury that needed attention. Pet Claude refused the claim, stating that she “has cancer and they won’t cover it.”
My cat has never been diagnosed with cancer. This was just another excuse not to provide coverage.
This company seems focused on avoiding payouts rather than helping pets and their owners. Constant denials, contradictory explanations, and a complete lack of accountability. I do not recommend Figo.
